About Bredin Digital

Bredin Digital is a video production company based out of Brockville, Ontario. It was founded in 2020 by Rebecca Bredin, with the original goal of helping small businesses learn how to develop their online presence further through social media. As Bredin Digital continued to develop, focused more on creating professional-level video content for local businesses that can be used on social media platforms.

Bredin Digital is able to provide a wide variety of services and tools when creating video content. All editing is done through the Adobe Creative Suite, using Premiere Pro as well as After Effects for graphic manipulation and Audition for audio enhancement. Clients will be able to access equipment such as a teleprompter to help get through large amounts of dialogue or the green screen to change the background. Bredin Digital also has a 4K drone that can capture video from the air – excellent for showing the scale of size of a location or for tourism videos.

Bredin Digital is proud to help with local events in and around the Brockville area. Bredin Digital took on a major role with the 29th and 30th Annual Brockville New Year’s Eve Concerts In Historic Downtown Churches, helping adapt the concert series to an online format due to COVID-19 restrictions. The entirety of the 2020 and 2021 performances can be found on YouTube.

About Rebecca Bredin

Rebecca Bredin is the founder of Bredin Digital.

If you had told 16-year-old Rebecca Bredin she would be working full-time  running her own business as a videographer, she would have never believed you. Mostly because YouTube didn’t exist then and the internet was really just a place for flash memes. Her love for video dates back to the late 90s, when she would create VHS tapes filled with her favourite boy band (The Moffatts) with all of the commercials edited out. Later, she would create music videos to her favourite anime series using Windows Movie Maker, having no idea that this would eventually become the roots to her current career.

As a millennial, Rebecca has been able to jump on all the internet trends, learning them as they were just starting out. She used LiveJournal through high school and university, and then transitioned to being a blogger while living overseas in Japan.  Rebecca has previously lived and worked in Tokyo, Japan and Seoul, South Korea, where she developed a digital publication about K-Pop for international fans in South Korea back in 2012. She then moved to Toronto, where she studied Social Media Marketing at George Brown College. While there, Rebecca worked as a data analyst for a major social media platform, specializing in trust and safety analysis and preventing dangerous spam on the internet.

Since returning to Brockville in 2019 to join the Brockville & District Chamber of Commerce’s tourism team, Rebecca has enjoyed helping small businesses and events come up with digital media strategies. When the tourism contracted ended, Bredin Digital was founded. Through the pandemic, Bredin Digital transitioned from a social media consulting company to a video production company, fulfilling a dream that 16-year-old Rebecca didn’t even know was possible.

Rebecca is currently an executive committee member of the Downtown Brockville New Years Eve Church Concerts. From 2021-2023, Rebecca served as the communications chair for the  Brockville Women in Business executive.

In 2020, Rebecca Bredin was recognized as one of the Top 40 Under 40 by the Brockville Young Professionals Network.

In 2021, Rebecca was recognized with the Ben TeKamp Memorial Award through the Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce Awards of Excellence Gala.
