Last night, I found out that I’ve been offered a job with Interac, a company in Japan that places native English speakers in the public school system as teachers! This is amazing, since I’ve been wanting this for ages.
But, there’s more.
There is an opening in Yokosuka, Kanagawa, for June 2nd. As you’ll see in that map, it’s REALLY close to Tokyo. The location is the opportunity of a lifetime, really. I’d be crazy to pass this up, so I’m rushing through the moving process, what should be three months will be two weeks.
Insert panic here.
But, I have faith that it will all be worth it, and I’ll pull through with the best of them! I’ll be posting here about my time in Japan, so keep watching! ^_^
