Kamakura trip

Oh god, where to start… I’ve been.. really busy.

I went to Kamakura with my Interac co-workers yesterday. It was rather uneventful, co-worker wise. However, Kamakura is lovely. Very zen and calming. And the beach is BRILLIANT. I could spend a few days at the beach. And I plan to go temple hopping in the fall, when I can enjoy myself without the sunburn and bugs.

First, we went to Daibutsu, which means BIG GIANT BUDDHA. It was really something. Apparently, he’s second biggest in Japan? He was pretty impressive, I can say that much!

After, we went to Hase Kannon, which is the fourth stop on some pilgramage you can make through Japan. It was BEAUTIFUL. As long as you ignore the SCARY CAVE THAT MADE ME LEARN I GET CLAUSTROPHOBIC. I got some amazing photos.

This photo still stuns me.

SO CUTE, OH MY GOD.

Again with the SO CUTE OH MY GOD.

I know it’s probably for the hawks. But I say it’s for the crows. They’re scarier.

Afterwards, we went to the beach. I don’t have any photos uploaded yet, but it was really nice there.

Hopefully, I’ll have time to write more about this week some other time. I’m really rushed off my feet all week. XD
